RMS becomes authorized Margay Ignite Dealer with Service Shop on site at Concept Haulers Motor Speedway
RMS Kart & Performance LLC is thrilled to announce a partnership with Margay Racing, out of St. Louis Missouri in officially becoming an Ignite Kart Dealership, along with Concept Haulers Motor Speedway in running the show room. We are excited to share that we will be carrying Margay Ignite Products, from Axles, Hubs, Spindles and much more. Also to mention, we will have Briggs 206 Parts and Hoosier Tires in the showroom. With the debut of the Margay Ignite Class this year at Concept Haulers, along with the Ignite Challenge date on June 22, there is no better time to let RMS help you get involded in Ignite Karting then now.
Margay Racing developed the "Ignite K3" back in 2014. Since then, it has grown massivley to racers all over the country. Racers can take their Ignite K3 kart to compete in an Ignite Class locally, while having the option to race the regional Ignite Challenge Series and national events, such as the Ignite Major races. The Margay Ignite K3 is made specially for spec package racing, entailing the same tire compound, chassis, axle size, wheels, engine and etc.

RMS announces new "Ignite Team" for Margay Ignite Challenge Series
RMS (Recendez Motorsports) is excited to announce a tent team for the 2024 Margay Ignite Challenge Series. Introducing this newly developed program as the “RMS Ignite Team”, the team will be present at 5 out of the 6 Ignite Challenge events. Those being at 61 Kartway, Concept Haulers Motor Speedway, Kart Circuit Autobahn, Mid State Kart Club and TNT Kartways. Due to a schedule conflict, the team will not be present at the Gateway KartPlex season opener.
Owner of RMS Kart & Performance - James Recendez, will be bringing in heavy-knowledgeable load of Margay Ignite Experience. Since his first Ignite event at Daytona Kartweek in December 2018, James has developed several skills involving the Ignite karts, from race craft, chassis set up, driver consulting and maintenance. It’s notable to mention that RMS has podium and race winning results in Margay Ignite Karts, with drivers such as Matthew Hartsell, Easton Kubinski and Justice Buttala at the Kart Circuit Autobahn club level.
Matthew Hartsell, will pilot his #57 Ignite K3 in both the Ignite Senior and Ignite Heavy Championships, with his RMS Powered Briggs Lo206. Hartsell took on the Ignite Heavy class last season in the Ignite Challenge, earning numerous feature podiums and wrapping up the season with 3rd place championship points finish. James Recendez, will pilot his #77 Ignite K3 during the doubleheader race weekend in June, at Concept Haulers and Kart Circuit Autobahn. James will serve as the mechanic tuner for Hartsell at 61 Kartway, Mid State Kart Club and TNT Kartways. The RMS Ignite Team will be looking to develop and take notes as a team for the 2024 season, with goals of chasing after podiums, feature wins and class championships this season. At the conclusion of its inaugural season this year, RMS will make decisions on how to expand the tent for more drivers next year, while bringing in other resources. On the side, RMS will provide the following services to racers at this year's Ignite challenge events:

The Margay Ignite Challenge has been a growing regional series in the United States. The series visits Gateway Kartplex, 61 Kartway, Concept Haulers Motor Speedway, Kart Circuit Autobahn, Mid State Kart Club and TNT Kartways. Competitors utilize the same Ignite chassis in separate age classes, along with the Hoosier R80 tires, Briggs LO206 Engine Package and the Spec Driver Gear. The results come down to the driving and race craft.
